Prabowo Embraced by Indonesian Diaspora in Russia: A Warm Welcome

Prabowo Subianto, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, was greeted warmly by Indonesian citizens upon his arrival at his hotel in St. Petersburg. Notably, three medical students from Papua studying in St. Petersburg shared their joy at meeting the President in person for the first time. Additionally, a family from Solo, Indonesia, residing in Russia, had a chance to meet Prabowo, with one of the children even requesting Lego, much to everyone’s delight. The encounter was filled with emotion and national pride as the Indonesian community abroad expressed warm wishes, prayers, admiration, and gratitude to their President. There were also hopeful discussions about the potential establishment of an Indonesian consulate in St. Petersburg, underscoring the strong bond between Indonesia and its overseas citizens.
