Despite receiving encouragement from various parties to run for office again, Prabowo stressed the importance of focusing on delivering concrete results in his current role before making any decisions about his future. He emphasized the need to prioritize public evaluation and expressed his unwillingness to pursue a vice-presidential position unless he can demonstrate outstanding performance in his current cabinet. During the Democratic Party Congress closing ceremony, Prabowo also took the opportunity to congratulate Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) on his re-election as Chairman of the party, recognizing the importance of his leadership for the next five years. In his remarks, Prabowo reiterated his dedication to serving the Indonesian people with effectiveness and integrity.
