President Prabowo Subianto recently attended the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony before heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. Dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo arrived at the airbase around 3:15 PM Western Indonesia Time and was bid farewell by high-ranking officials for his official state visit. Accompanying him were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other key figures from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.
Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, President Prabowo watched military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance at the airbase with Defense Minister Sjafrie. The primary purpose of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially concerning the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and exploring potential strategic partnerships. The visit aims to further enhance the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia and promote mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both nations.
