President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to Saudi Arabia on July 1, 2025, was a heartwarming event that resonated well with the Indonesian community living in Jeddah. The President was welcomed by elementary school children with great enthusiasm as they cheered, waved flags, and chanted, “Welcome, Mr. President!” The formal reception quickly transitioned into a cheerful and emotional gathering as President Prabowo interacted warmly with the children, smiling and posing for photos. One student, Arsad Hanfana Al-Syarabi, proudly introduced himself as the child of Indonesian Embassy workers in Jeddah. Before continuing his visit, President Prabowo shared a simple yet heartfelt message encouraging the children to excel in their studies.
The encounter also deeply touched members of the Indonesian community in Jeddah, such as Hanif Hasanuddin from the Muhammadiyah Special Branch (PCIM).
